Full Time - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, may adjust according to business needs
Compensation:
$22.00 - $23.50/hr based on experience
Duties:
- Operate and maintain manual lathes, mills, and related equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Set up machines, tools, and materials for optimal performance
- Machine parts to exacting standards and tight tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools like micrometers and calipers
- Troubleshoot and solve machining challenges to keep production on track
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
Skills:
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing environment
- Basic Knowledge operating manual lathes and mills would be considered an assets
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with hand tools or other machines will be considered an asset
