This position is full time, 35 hours per week, and may require, on occasion, working evenings as required.


$53,139 per Annum plus mileage, benefits after probationary period has been successfully completed.


Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Group facilitation
  • Interviewing and assessment of group participants and job seekers,
  • Creating service plans
  • Outreach to employers for the purpose of finding youth employment opportunities
  • Service coordination and client support
  • Computer and social networking responsibilities
  • Opportunities for program development and innovative practice available

  • Post-Secondary Education in Social Services related field
  • Experience working with youth at risk and disadvantaged populations
  • Experience and skill working with clients through a full practice process to support their journey toward actualizing meaningful employment i.e from assessment to intervention to evaluation
  • Good community knowledge of services and how to access them
  • Must have strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Preferred candidate to have experience working with youth in an employment counselling/ group facilitation capacity and job development
  • Must have valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for working with youth and group facilitation
  • Ability to manage the organization's social media platforms including; implementing social media applications, content uploads and engaging audience
