LABOURER – GUELPH/ERAMOSA
The Goal of wireless.farm is to create one of Canada's first decent rural community Internet Projects. Guelph/Eramosa Township has like many other rural areas been subject to price gouges by Cellular services as the only viable and reliable access for internet, In some pocket areas we have small providers providing service these are at a fraction of the speeds the city has and tend to be unstable at times. http://wireless.farm
Close to Public Transit:
Guelph/Eramosa Township We are a small rural ISP building our own infrastructure running fiber optics out in outskirts of Guelph. The job is pretty mellow it’s pretty similar to landscaping so a candidate that enjoys the outdoors is ideal. Our typical day consists of digging in boxes for fiber, then doing restoration work after as to not leave peoples yards a mess :) Opportunity for first hand training on fiber splicing and training for fiber technician techniques We do need someone ASAP to aid with our work load. Having transportation is a must as it is out in the country
