Duties:

• This position is full time, 35 hours per week, and may require, on rare occasions, working evenings or weekends. • Position is located in our Fergus office serving clients in Guelph Wellington County. Reliable transportation is required. Responsibilities and Duties • Meet with job seeker to obtain employment history, educational background, career goals etc. Assess employment related needs including disclosure of disability and accommodations • Identify barriers to employment and provide appropriate supports to job seeker • Provide employment support including resume writing, cover letters, mock interviews, Linked in, interview skills, job search strategies etc. • Contacting local business to educate on our services and supports and market specific clients • Provide job coaching supports for clients that need assistance during orientation on the job • Maintain file case notes and appropriate documentation regarding clients’ progress and follow up. Enter accurate client data into designated reporting computer systems and updates as needed • Facilitate employment related workshop • Other duties as assigned

Skills:

Must Demonstrate/Have: • 3 + years’ work experience supporting individuals with disabilities. Experience providing employment counselling is an asset • Training or education in career development, social services and/or related field • Good knowledge of community services and how to access them • Excellent administrative and time management skills • Comfortable using social media and virtual platforms such as Zoom
