Superior Glove Works Ltd. is currently seeking an IT Network Analyst to work out of its global headquarters located in Acton, ON, Canada. You will be responsible for supporting all our SGW locations, including Acton ON, Point Leamington NFLD, Springdale NFLD, Honduras, Cheektowaga NY, and Edmonton AB. This role supports the standard hours of business from 8:00am to 5:00pm EDT/EST. This position requires on-call after-hours rotational support, for scheduled maintenance and monitoring, and infrastructure emergencies.

Duties:

Job/Position Summary: Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the IT Network Analyst will support the design, planning, operation, security, and day to day management of our organization's network, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, storage, backup, operating systems, core applications, network connected devices and all data communications. This role includes the ability to ‘wear any hat’ to jump in and help team members resolve end user requests. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of server, backup and network support with a strong understanding of VMWare, Active Directory, Office 365 Administration, Windows 10, MDM Solutions, Telecom systems, Veenam and Cloud based solutions • Acts an escalation point for Level 2, 3 and 4 Help Desk tickets, reviewing requirements, and resolving requests as assigned • Monitor critical network and system components for failures and performance degradation with a good understanding of cybersecurity, backups, disaster recovery tools and strategies • Ability to work with end users in a clear and professional manner and advise end users and management in order to deliver solutions • Aptitude to work with customers and software developers on cross-functional teams • Acts as a liaison within the IT team to help bring tasks to a close in a timely manner • Ability to provide clear, concise technical documentation of issues in applicable data systems (i.e. Jira, and creating documentation such as a network topology) • Responsible for business IT requests, such as setting up new hire equipment, providing IT onboarding instructions, preparing hardware, establishing software accounts, and moving equipment during internal office relocations • A system administrator for key applications, maintaining the backend configuration administrator console and user access rights • Reinforce implementation of new processes & systems and support with Change Management initiatives • Responsible for participating in IT projects and support tasks primarily focused on server, backup, telecom, network, disaster recovery, business continuity or security support

Skills:

Qualifications & Requirements: • Post-secondary Computer/Systems Diploma and/or Degree • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Network Support role • Experience in a support role educating and training end users (i.e. Office 365, Teams, SharePoint and SaaS applications) • Good communication skills - verbal/written • Able to work in highly collaborative atmosphere with team members and 3rd parties to deliver solutions • Ability to problem solve technical issues with a strong sense of urgency • Strong record keeping/documentation skills with an ability to securely protect and maintain confidentiality of personal data • Strong decision-making skills regarding ticket prioritization and assignment • Must possess strong interpersonal skills for working with team members and internal customers • Valid passport and driver’s license with satisfactory driving record • Follow and adhere to company’s policies and procedures • The following certifications are considered an asset but are not required to apply: 1.
