Duties:

Principle Roles & Responsibilities: ❏ Verifying that units/products are built in conformance with Job Orders Specifications ❏ Inspecting units to ensure that they visually and operationally conform to Walinga standards for quality and consistency ❏ Documenting concerns and required corrections for follow up with the appropriate departments or individuals ❏ Following up on any concerns or discrepancies with the appropriate departments or individuals and arranging for corrections to be made, where necessary ❏ Installation of conspicuity tape as well as all necessary instructional, safety/warning and certification decals ❏ Any required final finishing and clean up of the unit to make it presentable to the customer ❏ Assembling and recording the necessary information for the Operators Manuals ❏ Providing the customer with all appropriate warranty information ❏ Take detailed photos of completed units for use as future reference ❏ Completing/Compiling all necessary production and inspection records ❏ Additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor ❏ Maintain equipment and work area within department in a condition that does not compromise safety ❏ Participate in skill set and safety training as applicable ❏ Perform other duties as assigned in various departments as skill set reflects ability

Skills:

Skill & Knowledge Requirements: ❏ Ability to do essential duties ❏ Ability to use hand/power tools ❏ Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Supervisors, co-Workers and Customers ❏ Ability to understand and follow English instructions ❏ Ability to maintain equipment and tools. ❏ Knowledge of relative safety standards and ability to report unsafe conditions. ❏ Willingness to use protective gear ❏ Ability to give attention to detail Academic and Trades Qualifications: ❏ High school diploma or one year of equivalent work experience ❏ Strong basic math skills ❏ Ability to read and interpret drawings and installation instructions Physical Ability: ❏ Good physical health: ❏ Range or Motion: ability to climb, walk, squat, kneel and perform above shoulder height activity ❏ Work in various positions (flat and vertical planes, overhead) ❏ Lift from floor to waist (a minimum of 10 lbs up to 50 lbs) ❏ Lift from waist to shoulder or above shoulder height (a maximum of 10 lbs) ❏ Work in various temperatures, cold and heat ❏ Ability to work with or around chemicals Psychological: ❏ Decision making capability - problem solving ❏ Attain precise standards, follow work instruction ❏ Read and Interpret data ❏ Ability to work in fast pace work environment ❏ Ability to work independently and in a group Tools: ❏ Dremel (Engraving Tool) Job Specific / Equipment Training: ❏ WHMIS / GHS ❏ Lock-out ❏ Crane Training ❏ Working at Heights ❏ Confined Space ❏ Aerial Lift
