• Participate in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant • Understand and monitor the quality needs of our customers • Manage the day to day production responsibilities of creating a world class glass fiber reinforcement product. • Perform work in the finished product packaging area including Quality Testing, Packaging, Proper Product • Identification and placement of finished material in the Warehouse • Communicate with your peers and support staff to ensure effective teamwork • Handle startup and shut down duties pertaining to packaging equipment at the beginning and end of each shift • Maintain quality checks and ensure proper product identification and weight • Report any problems to appropriate personnel and carry out emergency procedures • Operate a fork lift and other related material handling machinery • Ensure production equipment is in optimal working condition and works in accordance to regulations set by the Company • Assist in troubleshooting positional issues related to reliability • Participate in continuous improvement activities as we strive for long term goals • Perform other related duties as directed by Supervision


• Ability to think under pressure and make quick decisions • Ability to work well in a team and independently • Good attention to detail • Basic mechanical knowledge • Meet team expectations such as reliability, teamwork, and process improvement • Maintain and continuously improve productivity, quality and safety • High school diploma or GED equivalency • 1-3 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment • Participation and successful qualification in a workplace skill assessment administered by Owens Corning and Conestoga College as a condition of employment
