Duties:

We are looking for a Human Resources champion to lead our corporate engagement and talent programs to enable our team members to work and succeed in an environment of support, growth, and excellence. Reporting to the Director of HR, the Employee Experience Manager (Corporate) will be a leader in developing, executing, and maintaining our corporate programs. This person will also be responsible for the experience of our corporate team leading our talent management strategy and working with our leaders to provide guidance and advice on team member engagement and performance.   • Coach and advise managers through each stage of the employee experience, including but not limited to performance improvement plans, career development, coaching, discipline, and termination.
  • Oversees recruitment and onboarding for our non-operational sites to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
  • Continuously work to improve culture and engagement by working closely with senior leadership to collect and review formal/informal feedback from team members and develop initiatives and events that enrich the employee experience.
  • Create, implement, and maintain corporate programs to support performance and engagement of our team members. For example, our performance management and lunch and learn programs.
  • Responsible for supporting the development of a healthy and safe work environment, specifically a psychologically safe work environment, by managing training and development programs, including our inclusion and respect for people program.
  • Manage, provide direction, and support direct reports.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably with experience in a managerial role.
  • College or University education in Business Administration or related field.
  • Certification in HR preferred.
  • Experience developing engagement and employee support programs.
  • Prior knowledge and application of HR related laws, principles, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Engaging and inclusive communicator, both orally and written.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Prior experience with training and development or facilitation skills would be an asset.
