Monday to Thursday 3:30 p.m. to midnight and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays.


$18.50 to start, plus $0.50 on the afternoon shift.


Responsibility: Pre-Dipping Preparation • Ensuring all dip tanks, drip trays, liners, mixers are prepared and placed prior to production run and maintained throughout. • Batch mixing, weighing and measuring compounds – administering over duration of product run. • Ensure all dipping compounds and solutions ready and in place along with all housekeeping of dipping room and compounding lab prior to production run. • Production process control report is reviewed, product retrieved. • Product traceability assured after product counts completed in timely manner to meet packing department requirement to fulfill orders • Preventative maintenance on stations as required During the run/start up • Fill up the tanks and get ready for the production • Check all process parameters at specified intervals including troubleshooting each station to ensure parameters are in spec. and complete all process control documents. • Monitor dip line machine during production for spillage, rack positioning, breakdown, defects etc. • If necessary stop the machine in a safe manner, troubleshoot and repair when required • Communicate progress to Team Leader including issues and irregularities • Assure all liners, bins readily available for loaders and take off people • Assure all finished product properly labeled • Quality control testing documentation completion as required • Assure all finished products properly transferred to packing department after QC tests Post Dipping • Coordinate cleaning of the dip tank, drip tank and all accessory equipment after production • Ensure all equipment is shutdown in the proper manner following protocols • Organize all remaining liners and maintain good housekeeping in the production area • Production process control documents updated with production run information and calculations • Waste water treatment including cleaning filter bags, maintaining pump, pit etc. • Bone dry spraying process may be required Equipment and/or Product Familiarity: • Dip Line (training provided) • Hand Tools • Production chemicals/materials • Forklift Truck • Health & safety equipment/gloves as necessary • Other systems as business needs require. Responsibility for Safety and Housekeeping: • Required to adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with the O.H.S.A. • Perform certain maintenance tasks on Dip Line and related equipment. • Ensure safe operation of forklift. • Follow and ensure the company’s procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed throughout the company. • Work and operate equipment per the company’s safety rules and regulations. • Ensure work area, department and the company are clean, tidy, organized and safe for self and others always. Decision Making and consequence of error/judgment: • Must be well versed in proper health & safety regulations for the manufacturing environment or it could result in potential safety violations, fines, injuries, etc. • Must operate Dip Line and Forklifts in a safe manner or serious injury/property damage could occur. • Must ensure Dip Line is operating properly or risk wasting money and resources due to a poor quality product being produced. • Poor training & transfer of knowledge could also result in violations, injuries, etc.


Job/Position Summary: This role is responsible for the overall operation of our Glove Dip Line. Skills / Knowledge / Education / Experience: • Minimum of one to three years previous production experience in a machine/line operator role • Strong communication skills are essential to be able to work with all departments and outside contacts • Math skills required to ensure order/mixing accuracy – testing is part of the recruitment process • Ability to complete charts, reports and perform calculations as required • Forklift license required, training to be provided, experience preferred • Basic Computer skills essential • Physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs during setup and cleanup • Flexible to work extended shift hours when line requires • Ability to work safely in following all procedures including chemicals procedures and ladder safety
