Hours:

7:00 to 4:00 (7:30am start-time during the winter months)


Duties:

  • Design new roof truss layouts
  • Update archived/existing truss drawings using design software
  • Provide design support for new and existing orders
  • Create drawings, including design layouts, detail and assembly drawings using measurements, specifications, and additional data
  • Review plans for any errors that may have been overlooked. Check trusses to make sure calculations are correct as shown

Skills:

  • Proficient at using AutoCAD (we can train the right candidate to design trusses)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain focus in a changing work environment
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Proficient at designing and detailing structural components including trusses
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism
