Superior Glove Works currently seeking a Data Analyst to work out of its global headquarters in Acton, ON, Canada. Job/Position Summary: Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Data Analyst will be overseeing the organization, input, and maintenance of product data into company data platforms for both internal and external use. Additionally, this individual is responsible for the processes and communications necessary to maintain and update product data with our distributors. This individual is highly skilled at data extraction, analysis, and liaising proactively with distributors to make sure Superior Glove products are well-represented to support sales. Communication between IT, Marketing, Purchasing, Sales, and Distributors is a critical component. Responsibilities: • Data Governance: o Reviews ERP data for accuracy and missing information. Understands business processes and inter-departmental workflows to make decisions on data maintenance. o Collaborates with team leaders to resolve data questions, inconsistencies, and missing data. Hosts and conducts meetings across functional teams. o Negotiates with various leaders to establish timelines, consensus, and strategy. Promotes and advocates for data governance by ensuring quality and accuracy of master data such as customer, part, supplier, etc. • Analysis: o Imports/exports data from ERP systems and various databases. o Creates SQL queries to automate tasks, data load, and clean data. o Develops reports to identify and analyze any data inconsistencies. o Assesses, prioritizes and probes to develop recommendations on how best achieve business goals across various departments, such as inter-departmental processes. o Assists with and facilitates business process mapping sessions with cross-functional teams and collects information that will guide the development of workflows and Standard Operating Procedures. • Distributor Data Management: o Acts as primary liaison for distributor data requests. o Establishes processes for accepting and fulfilling requests and for proactively updating data with distributors outside of requests. o These data requests and updates are for the distributor’s EDI setup, their ERP system and/or their website. o Interactive discussion with distributors requires strong communication and proactive outreach/follow up. • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ERP and SQL • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Management, Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or complimentary position, preferably in a manufacturing environment • Advanced understanding of core business processes and inter-departmental workflows • Ability to import/export data from ERP systems and various databases • Collaborate with team leaders to resolve data questions, inconsistencies, and missing data • Programming experience to include creating SQL queries to automate tasks, data load, and clean data • Promotes and advocates for data governance by ensuring quality and accuracy of master data such as customer, part, supplier, etc. • Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft products; Outlook, Excel, Word and SQL • Efficient and accurate data entry skills • Superior analytical skills, must be extremely detailed • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with team and with all levels of leadership • Ability to effectively present information to groups of people and train on relevant topics • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks based on daily business demands • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Comfortable communicating internally and externally at all seniority levels, and in any medium (phone, video, email, direct messaging, etc.), to facilitate successful work projects • Proactively seeks and tests solutions to overcome challenges and thrives on constructive feedback • Follow and adhere to company’s policies and procedures
